Kokomo Rescue Mission exists to proclaim the Good News and demonstrate the compassion of Jesus Christ to the homeless, hungry and hurting in North Central Indiana.

The vision of Kokomo Rescue Mission is to see the homeless, hungry and hurting achieve wholeness through its Christ-centered programs and services.



Fast Facts

• Opened in February 1953 to serve the needy in North Central Indiana.

• Services available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

• Services include men's shelter, women & children's shelter, free public dining room, mobile food pantry, free clothing and holiday outreach programs.

• Helps over 250 people each day, including serving an average of 325 meals per day.

• Cooperates by referral with other social services, mental health and judicial agencies.

• Support comes from the contributions of individuals, businesses and churches and proceeds from resale stores.
