Volunteer FAQs
Q. How do I become a volunteer?
A: You may complete the volunteer application online or call the Volunteer Coordinator at (765) 456-3838 and to have a volunteer application mailed to you. Soon after we receive your application, we will schedule a time to meet you and give you a tour of the Mission.
Q: How often would I have to volunteer and how many hours would I have to give?
A: You may spend as little as two hours serving a meal or you could spend an entire day in any area such as Open Arms, our shelter for homeless women and children, or in the Red Ribbon Christmas area. We will do our best to match you with an area of interest and the time you are available. Some may want to volunteer weekly or monthly or only for special events.
Q: Is there an age requirement?
A: To serve meals, youth need to be at least 14-years-old, if they come without a parent or adult sponsor. Other projects are available for children under 14 if there is adequate adult supervision. Call the Volunteer Coordinator at (765) 456-3838 for suggestions.
