Help with Events

From time to time, the Mission holds special events to raise support for specific programs, highlight an urgent need, or celebrate the holidays. Coming out to these events, or even volunteering at one, is a great way for you, your family, or a group you’re part of to really make a difference for our neighbors in need! BACK TO SCHOOL ASSISTANCE

July 12, 2022 @ 12:00 am - July 15, 2022 @ 12:00 am

NEW shoes, socks, and undergarments available to students who qualify to receive assistance. Students and siblings will also receive a voucher for school clothing from our Care & Share Store.

DATES & LOCATIONS TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE:

Tuesday, July 12  –  3:00 pm-6:00 pm at Taylor Elementary School, 5500 Wea Drive

Wednesday, July 13  –  3:00 pm-6:00 pm at Carver Center, 1030 N. Purdum Street

Thursday, July 14  –  10:00 am-1:00 pm & 3:00 pm-5:30 pm at Grace United Methodist Church, 219 W. Mulberry Street

Friday, July 15  –  10:00 am-1:00 pm at Grace United Methodist Church, 219 W. Mulberry Street

To qualify to receive assistance, Student MUST be present & accompanied by parent/legal guardian & be 5-18 years old entering K-12.

What To Bring To Qualify:

  • Photo ID of Parent/Legal Guardian
  • Proof of Income
  • Student’s Birth Certificate
  • Student’s Birth Date
  • Student’s Social Security Card

Donations may be brought or shipped to the Kokomo Rescue Mission, 321 W. Mulberry St, Kokomo, IN 46901
