Recycling

Thanks to a generous grant from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, the Kokomo Rescue Mission has a revenue-producing recycling program. Profits are invested back into the Mission’s Ministry Programs. And recycling helps our environment and creates positive changes in the lives of men, women and children.

You can help in these efforts by donating the following:

  • Aluminum Cans
  • Metal
  • Toys
  • Books
  • Shoes
  • Textiles

These items can be dropped off at our main warehouse at 314 W. Mulberry St., Kokomo, IN  (behind the Care & Share Store)

NOTE – Effective July 19, 2019:  Due to the current market for recycling corrugated cardboard, the Mission is NOT accepting donations of cardboard boards and corrugated cardboard for recycling.  The Mission will continue to monitor the recycling market for cardboard.
